Bravilor Bonamat (‘Bravilor’, ‘we’, ‘our’) processes your personal data with care to ensure that it is kept secure and confidential. It is of great importance to us that you trust our organisation, and therefore we do all we can to protect your privacy. What is personal data and what is processing personal data?

Personal data

Personal data are all the data that can be traced back to a person. You share personal data with us if you are a customer of our company or if you make contact with us. Your name, phone number or e-mail address could be shared with us. All the data that could be associated with you are personal data.

Processing  

Processing includes everything that could be done with your personal data, such as collecting, saving, adjusting, using, organising, publishing, sharing or removing your data.

When you visit our website, fill in the contact form on our website, sign a contract or contact us through one of our communication channels, you are sharing personal with us.

We do not collect specific personal data about you (this includes data about for instance your race, ethnicity, religious or philosophical convictions, union membership, information about your health and genetic or biometric data).

For what purpose do we use personal data?

We use your personal data only on the basis of the following lawful principles:

• To conclude a contract with you and to execute it 
• To meet our legal obligations
• For our legitimate business interests
• Based upon approval. You have the right to withdraw your approval at any time by contacting us.

• When you become a Bravilor customer we need to collect personal data in order to be able to execute the contract. We use your details to send you quotations, deliver goods or to provide you with information, invoice you and to communicate with you about implementing the agreement.
• When you contact us by e-mail, by the contact form on our website or in any other way, we register that contact. 
• We need your details to conclude a contract if you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor. We then use your data to send you requests for quotation, place orders, pay your invoices and communicate with you about implementing the agreement.  

When we no longer need your personal data we will delete them.

With whom do we share personal information and why?

We can publish your personal data to:

• Bravilor offices 
  We exchange information between Bravilor offices for reasons of business operations and reporting. This includes for instance complying with specific laws and regulations, maintaining secure IT systems or specific services.
  We can also share data to store them in central databases.
  
• Our external service providers such as companies who provide website hosting, data analysis, administration, fulfilment, information technology and similar infrastructure, e-mail, CRM, identity management, checks and other services.When we use other service providers we will share only those personal details that are needed for a specific project.
  
• When you communicate with us as a business customer, supplier or partner, we can share personal information that is available in reports or other materials provided by you and/or your company, in compliance with an agreement with another business partner or supplier.
• Public and governmental authorities when we see it as necessary (a) to comply with applicable laws, either within or outside the country or your residence, to cooperate with law enforcement agencies or for other lawful reasons; (b) to impose our conditions; and (c) to protect our rights, privacy, safety or properties and/or those of our subsidiaries or offices, you or others. 

When we share your personal data internally or with third parties in other countries, we always ensure appropriate safeguards to protect these data. Bravilor bases its safeguards on: 

• Contract models of the EU. These include standard terms which are used in agreements with service providers to make sure sharing information with countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) is in compliance with laws and regulations regarding data protection.
• Privacy Shield, an agreement that protects personal data that are shared with the United States. 

How do we protect your personal data?

Security

We use administrative, organisational, technical and physical security measures to protect your personal data. Our security checks are designed to safeguard an appropriate level of confidentiality, integrity and available of data. We regularly check and test our data centres for security risks.

Retention periods

We will store your details for as long as necessary or permissible with respect to the purpose(s) for which the data have been collected. The criteria we use to determine our retention periods are: (i) the duration of our relationship with you; (ii) lawful obligations which we must satisfy; and (iii) whether retention is necessary in relation to our legal status (for instance concerning applicable limitation periods for dispute procedures or inspections by supervisory authorities).
